SmartHelio’s Autopilot software uses a Hybrid AI/Physics model to create high-fidelity digital twins of every PV string. By integrating SCADA data with satellite imagery and weather patterns, the system distinguishes between "external factors" and "internal faults" (like PID or bypass diode failure) with an unreasonably high degree of accuracy. Unlike traditional monitoring, SmartHelio’s diagnostic precision allows O&M teams to clean panels only when necessary, optimizing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
Founded by Govinda Upadhyay and Neeraj Dasila, the team brings a mission-driven approach to ClimateTech. Govinda, a Forbes 30 Under 30 (Europe) honoree, is a recognized "Climate Change Warrior." In 2024, SmartHelio was the recipient of a $3M non-dilutive grant from the Swiss Govt.
