Their platform utilizes Edge-AI controllers mounted directly on grid infrastructure like distribution transformers, circuit breakers and feeder pillars. These devices monitor electrical parameters - voltage, frequency, and load in real-time, using machine learning to detect theft, phase imbalances, or imminent faults locally. They also monitor a vast array of asset health parameters like to provide health indexes, fault forecasts and end-of-life predictions for critical grid assets. This edge-first approach allows for pro-active grid management and remote grid healing, enabling the system to trip breakers or shift loads automatically to prevent cascading outages and grid imbalances.
Founder & CEO Meenakshi Vashist brings 30 years of experience from ISRO, C-DoT and Motorola where she worked on inertial systems for satellite launch vehicles, self-healing telecom networks and system-on-chip semiconductors. She is joined by Co-Founder & CTO Ram Swaroop Sethi (ex-Microsoft, Adobe and Motorola) and Co-Founder & CBO Rohit Monga with experience in business development and operational roles in Asia, Americas and India. TekUncorked is a multi-award-winning startup, having received multiple accolades from the likes of Nasscom, Zone Startups, UN Habitat and the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) community, and is backed by Third Derivative (D3) - a top-tier accelerator for ClimateTech startups.
